Updated: Jan 25, 2022

Here's our list of 8 famous people that love and have recently bought and own NFTs. Celebrities are scooping up NFTs and we hope that the fame brings more attention to the market as more and more noobs are joining the NFT community.

Snoop Dogg

A NFT veteran, Snoop Dogg owns hundreds of NFTs, including a large plot of land in the Sandbox where he is creating his own virtual house. Snoop's land has driven up the prices of the surrounding lands, with one sale in November amounting to $450,000. His party passes on Sandbox, where holders can enter his virtual home, go for over ETH, or around $5000. His own NFT collection is reportedly worth over $17 million.

Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy owns a Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) #599 that is valued at over $200,000 at time of writing. It was his first NFT, but not his last, as he owns a handful of NFTs in his wallet, including several derivatives of BAYC 599.

Reese Witherspoon

Legally Blonde actress and well-loved celebrity bought a World of Women NFT, shilling it:

Reese has since become an advocate for women entering the NFT space, encouraging women to create, buy and sell NFTs in an industry that is male-dominated.

The world-famous DJ reportedly holds over $650,000 worth of NFTs in his wallet, including Cryptopunk 8274. He recently partnered with Aito to launch a NFT auction titled "Into the Melloverse" on the Ethereum network that features top-notch production from Director Steven Messing and music from the well-loved music artist himself.

Paris showcased her knowledge of NFTs on Jimmy Fallon's show in August. But she's also put her money where her mouth is for NFTs, as she's recently backed the NFT company Origyn and she launched her own successful $1.1 million NFT line in April 2021.

On January 24, 2022, Paris gifted Jimmy Fallon and the entire audience a NFT from her collection.

Justin Bieber

Justin Tweeted about his new inbetweeners NFT by Italian artist GianPiero that was also listed about his profile pic on Twitter in December 2021. Justin is also known for his performances in the Metaverse and seems to be embracing Web 3.0 technology.
